Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with significant experience working in an audit firm. As Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality accounting services to the company while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close Assist with the annual audit process, including the draft of the financial statements and related notes Research and analyze expense variances for company management Lead and execute audit engagements for clients across various industries, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases. Analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations to clients for improving internal controls, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Prepare and review financial statements, audit reports, and other deliverables in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance, training, and feedback to support their professional development. Communicate effectively with clients, management, and other stakeholders to address questions, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and accounting, applying this knowledge to client engagements and internal processes.

Qualifications:

1+ years' of professional accounting experience in Dubai is required Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting principles, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in using audit software and accounting tools Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and assess areas of risk or non-compliance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a commitment to supporting the professional growth and development of junior staff members. Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work.
