Accountant

to join our dynamic team.

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing project costings, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in interior design or fit-out accounting and be familiar with project-based financial tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts (AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliation) Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial progress Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage VAT filings and compliance with local regulations Process payroll and coordinate with HR on related financial matters Liaise with external auditors and banks as needed Support procurement and operations with cost analysis and reporting Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up for payments Track subcontractor and supplier payments Monitor Expenses and Petty Cash Prepare Monthly Payroll

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fit-out or construction sector Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, Pemo, and Excel) Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification Experience with project-based accounting and WIP (Work in Progress) reports Familiarity with UAE VAT laws.
