The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role plays a critical part in supporting financial planning, inventory valuation, and cost analysis for the furniture and interior design business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Track and reconcile inventory costs related to furniture production and procurement.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
Work closely with project managers and procurement to track project costs and profitability.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
Minimum of 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, design, or interior industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
