AutoCAD Draftsman (Joinery & Interior Design)

We are seeking a skilled

AutoCAD Draftsman

with a strong background in

Joinery

and

Interior Design

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for bespoke furniture, joinery works, and interior fit-out projects. The role requires a keen eye for detail, precision, and the ability to collaborate with design and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

AutoCAD drawings

for custom joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out works. Develop

shop drawings

, sections, elevations, and joinery details based on design concepts and site measurements. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, client specifications, and industry practices. Coordinate with

designers, project managers, production teams

, and suppliers for design intent and execution. Revise drawings based on feedback, site modifications, and client requirements. Conduct site visits for measurements and verification of existing conditions. Assist in the preparation of

material take-offs

and

cutting lists

for production. Maintain accurate records and organized drawing files. Ensure timely delivery of drawings as per project schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting Technology

, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience

as an AutoCAD Draftsman in a

Joinery or Interior Fit-Out

company. Proficient in

AutoCAD 2D

(3D knowledge is a plus). Strong knowledge of

joinery details, materials, production processes, and installation techniques

. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Familiarity with

shop drawings, woodworking joinery techniques

, and furniture design. Excellent

attention to detail

and high level of accuracy in drawings. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of other design software (SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop) is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in

luxury or high-end interior projects

. Understanding of

local building codes and regulations

. Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
