Our finance team, based in Dubai, comprises skilled professionals including accountants and controllers. They handle financial costing, budgeting, controlling, VAT filing, regulatory compliance, and monthly reporting for Middle East and Africa entities, in alignment with Monjasa Group functions worldwide. As our new Accountant, you will work within a respected local finance team and have the opportunity to build a strong global network. You will report directly to the Finance Director, overseeing seamless financial operations across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. In this role, you will thrive in an ambitious, international environment, and should be comfortable working independently with high responsibility. Areas of focus

Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries in the accounting books. Processing and posting invoices, expense forms, and requests. Handling stock accounts and related tasks, with a focus on daily closing processes. Preparing reconciliation of G/L accounts. Maintaining balance sheet accounts. Managing financial transactions and data. Ensuring accounting controls by following policies and procedures. Your professional skills

Relevant financial education or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Experience in the oil and shipping industry is advantageous. Experience with NAV is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Your personal skills
