Handle day to day accounting operations, including data entry, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
Track inventory purchases, costings, and stock adjustments.
Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing.
Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, and aging reports.
Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, prepare VAT returns, and maintain related documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments.
Maintain proper documentation and support smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 to 4 years of accounting experience (preferably in a trading company).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ZOHO systems).
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Additional Preferences
Experience in inventory-based accounting.
Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and compliance.
