We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting functions, and a solid understanding of the UAE Corporate Tax (CT) regulations. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, tax compliance and supporting management with accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledgers.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
Liaise with external auditors and government authorities when required.
Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Support management with financial insights to improve decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a service or cleaning company.
Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations, including Corporate Tax (CT) and VAT.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
Experience working in the cleaning or facility management industry.
Familiarity with UAE labour and commercial laws.
Available for immediate joining or with a short notice period.
