Accountant

to join its growing finance team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about numbers, accuracy, and financial compliance, and who can support the company's day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journals, and supporting documentation Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with company policies and UAE regulations Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and intercompany transactions Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, including VAT returns and related documentation Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data and explanations Coordinate with operations and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in logistics, transport, or service-based industries Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and UAE financial regulations Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills
