About the Role

We are looking for a young, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented

Accountant

with 3-4 years of experience to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounting operations, including stock and inventory management, ERP and online portal reconciliation, payroll support, taxation, and financial reporting. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete accounting records including journals, ledgers, trial balance, and financial statements Record, review, and reconcile daily transactions (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and bank balances Maintain accurate stock and inventory records; conduct periodic stock reconciliations Track stock inflow and outflow and coordinate with operations and procurement teams Manage ERP accounting entries and ensure system data is accurate and up to date Handle reconciliation for online platforms such as Noon, Talabat, Careem, and other e-commerce portals Assist in payroll processing, including salaries, allowances, deductions, and benefits Assist with VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory compliance and filings Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control reporting Prepare financial insights, trend analysis, and performance reports for management Coordinate with internal and external auditors and maintain proper documentation Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency

Requirements

Minimum

3 - 4 years of accounting experience

(home country experience also accepted) Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, stock management, and ERP systems Experience with e-commerce portal reconciliation (Noon, Talabat, Careem, etc.) is an added advantage Educational Qualification:

M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA / CMA / ACCA / or equivalent

Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Must have accounting software knowledge
