Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
2-5 years' experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of job costing & project accounting
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
Track and manage project budgets, expenditures, and cost forecasts.
Monitor job costing, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor invoices.
Prepare Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports and analyze variances (budget vs. actual).
Review and reconcile project cost codes to ensure accuracy.
Process vendor invoices, verify quantities/prices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
Manage subcontractor payment applications and retention.
Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Review and verify weekly labor time sheets for site workers.
Allocate labor costs to appropriate project cost codes.
Coordinate with HR for payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, VAT/GST rules, and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
