Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records and statements.
Record daily transactions, reconcile bank statements, and ensure accuracy of ledgers.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Handle VAT filing, compliance, and coordination with relevant authorities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required.
Support management in financial decision-making by providing data-driven insights.
Maintain organized documentation and digital records of all financial activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Shipping company
Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software
