Fidobe Solutions LLC, a growing and dynamic company in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with extensive experience in Odoo Accounting. In this role, you will be crucial in managing our financial integrity and leveraging the Odoo ERP system to its full potential to drive efficiency and provide accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Core Accounting:
Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cash Flow.
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring deadlines are met.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash, and inter-company transactions.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Assist with internal and external audit processes.
Odoo-Specific Duties:
Serve as the in-house expert for all Odoo Accounting modules.
Manage the entire accounting cycle within Odoo, from invoicing and payments to reconciliation and reporting.
Configure and maintain the Odoo Chart of Accounts, journals, taxes, and fiscal positions.
Generate custom financial reports and dashboards within Odoo for management review.
Ensure accurate and seamless integration between the Accounting module and other Odoo apps (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Purchase).
Train and support other team members on Odoo accounting best practices.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to the Odoo accounting system.
Assist in the ongoing development and optimization of Odoo for accounting automation and process improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is a strong advantage.
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience using Odoo Accounting in a professional environment.
Proven experience in managing the full accounting cycle within Odoo.
In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws and practical experience filing VAT returns.
Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and financial reporting.
High proficiency in generating and analyzing financial reports from Odoo.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
Odoo Certification in Accounting.
Experience with Odoo implementation or data migration projects.
Experience in Trading, Real Estate, Manufacturing, and Services is a plus.
