We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, oversee TAX and VAT compliance, prepare statutory returns, and deliver accurate financial insights to support decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of accounting standards, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and general bookkeeping.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, UAE regulations etc.
Handle TAX and VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance reporting.
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct account reconciliations and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.
Analyze financial data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Prepare management reports with clear financial insights and recommendations.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all financial transactions.
Communicate with clients or stakeholders to clarify financial matters.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CA certification is an advantage).
Proven experience as an Accountant with strong TAX & VAT compliance expertise.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
