Job Title:

Accountant - Real Estate

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Accountant

with a strong background in

Real Estate accounting

and

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance

.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Management:

Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax authorities as required. VAT Accounting.

Real Estate Accounting:

Manage accurate accounting for real estate property sales, leases, and projects including off-plan sales, commissions, and escrow transactions. Coordinate with property management and sales teams for transaction reconciliations.

AML Compliance:

Monitor and review financial transactions to identify potential AML risks. Conduct and maintain

KYC documentation

for clients, tenants, and vendors. Assist in implementing AML/CFT policies in line with

UAE Central Bank

and

MOE

regulations. Stay updated on UAE AML laws, regulatory changes, and compliance procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred). Minimum

3-5 years of UAE-based accounting experience

, preferably in

real estate

. Solid understanding of

UAE AML regulations

,

RERA compliance

, and

VAT accounting

. Experience with accounting systems such as

QuickBooks, Tally, Yardi, or Oracle

. Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
