Maintain and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations.
Prepare accurate and timely
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
.
Ensure proper maintenance of the
General Ledger
and all accounting schedules.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
2. Accounts Receivable & Payable Management
Oversee customer invoicing, collections, and credit control.
Manage vendor payments, reconcile statements, and negotiate payment terms.
Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in preparing
annual budgets
and
financial forecasts
.
Monitor actual performance against budget and highlight variances.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and submit VAT returns on time.
Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
Ensure adherence to
IFRS standards
and company policies.
5. Cash Flow & Cost Control
Monitor daily cash flows and manage liquidity effectively.
Control operational costs, optimize expense management, and improve profitability.
6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional Certification:
CPA / ACCA / CA / CMA
(preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 3
+ years of accounting experience
, preferably in the
car rental, automotive, or transportation industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
