Job Title: Accountant - Restaurant

About Us:

Tonos Restaurant is a modern dining destination combining exceptional cuisine with outstanding service. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage the financial operations of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenues to ensure financial stability. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with internal policies. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support management decisions. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and other relevant laws. Coordinate with external auditors, suppliers, and management. Support cost control and inventory management processes.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry in the UAE. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
