We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable financial insights. This role requires strong analytical skills, adherence to professional standards, and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure financial statements and records comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Compute taxes accurately and prepare timely tax returns.
Prepare accounts and manage tax filings for individuals and businesses.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
Collaborate with internal teams to execute tax and financial engagements.
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement.
Prepare reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
Ensure compliance with professional accounting standards and ethical guidelines.
Communicate with clients to resolve queries, clarify financial matters, and support tax processes.
Meet and interview clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored advice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/CA is an advantage).
Proven experience as an Accountant, with expertise in TAX & VAT compliance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
