OTLO Shipping Line is a growing maritime and logistics company offering professional shipping and trade services. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our team.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience (preferably in the shipping, logistics, or trading sector).
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting entries, and journal entries.
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software Tally
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Accounting Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the company's general ledger, party ledger and recording daily financial transactions accurately and preparing journal entries.
Manage vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations, as well as customer invoices, receipts, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Reconcile bank statements,
Real-time updating of entries in the ERP system.
Support VAT and other statutory tax filings, maintain accurate records for audits, and organize supporting documents.
Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and communicate with banks, auditors, and vendors as needed.
