. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial reporting.
Handle VAT filings, compliance, and documentation as per FTA guidelines.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and financial analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5-10 years of accounting experience in UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software -
QuickBooks.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in Fit Out Contracting/Projects will be an advantage
