We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Accountant

to manage the financial operations of our bar in Dubai. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting, ensure compliance with UAE tax laws (including VAT), and support business decisions through accurate financial reporting. Experience in the

F&B or hospitality sector

is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate accounting records in line with UAE regulations Manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements Monitor daily revenue, cash handling, and POS system reports Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with FTA regulations Monitor inventory costs, bar supplies, and assist in stock audits Process staff payroll, gratuities, and ensure compliance with UAE WPS Assist with budget planning, cost control, and forecasting Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in F&B or hospitality Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and WPS requirements Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.) Strong Excel and data analysis skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control, and cost management in a bar/restaurant setting
