We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Accountant
to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Process payroll in compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
Monitor and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flows.
Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Assist in preparing financial audits and liaising with auditors.
Develop and implement financial controls and processes.
Provide timely financial reports and insights to management.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE with another accounting firm.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or Odoo) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of VAT compliance and UAE accounting standards.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Languages:
Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
