We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

General Accountant

with at least

2-3 years of proven experience

in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in the accounting system. Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payment follow-ups. Manage general ledger entries and maintain accurate documentation. Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Support external audits and liaise with auditors as required. Ensure compliance with company policies and international accounting standards. Provide timely financial analysis and recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a general accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
