One of our associates, a fast-growing fintech company specializing in secure, high-performance payment solutions, is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll management, and overall financial record-keeping. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting standards and local tax regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform full-cycle bookkeeping
- Prepare and file VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory submissions in line with local tax laws
- Manage and process payroll, ensuring timely salary payments and social security contributions
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant accounting, tax, and statutory obligations
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and payroll procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
