Job Role: Accountant
Job Location: Dubai, UAE

We are looking for an Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general accounting reports.
• Process daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
• Assist in payroll processing and manage employee records.
• Help with VAT returns, tax filings, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit financial reports to senior management, highlighting key financial insights.
• Provide support during audits and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
• Maintain and update accounting files and documents, ensuring proper storage and organization.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Perform any other accounting-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the retail or luxury industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax filings (VAT).
• Proficient in accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of UAE financial regulations and tax laws.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
