Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with proven experience in contracting or construction companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, including handling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Handle VAT registration, filing, and compliance with FTA requirements File and manage Corporate Tax returns and ensure timely payments Maintain general ledger and oversee budgeting and forecasting Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls Coordinate with external auditors and consultants when required Provide financial insights to support business decisions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a

contracting or construction company

Strong knowledge of

UAE VAT laws and corporate tax filing

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
