Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
Create and manage Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks Professional based on company structure.
Post journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Handle VAT filings, Corporate Tax (CT) calculations, and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.
Support audit processes and prepare required reports.
Use AI tools to automate tasks, generate reports, and draft communications.
Write professional emails and correspond with clients and regulatory bodies.
Provide financial analysis and reports to management.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
Proficient in QuickBooks Professional - setup, reporting, and daily use.
Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.
In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience using or willingness to adopt AI tools to improve performance.
Preferred Skills:
CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification (preferred, not required)
Experience working in or with financial firms
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
