Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle financial data with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring they are accurate and comply with relevant laws and regulations. Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow. Assist with tax preparation and ensure timely filing of tax returns. Prepare and submit financial reports to management. Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho) and MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Previous experience in the finance industry or a similar role is preferred.
