ACCOUNTANT

The role is fixed term contract role for 12 months based in UAE

POSITION REPORTS TO

:


Functional > Chief Accountant, Gulf & Levant Region - Accounting Shared Services Center based in Dubai.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

DATA ENTRY :

General Ledger Accounting


Support Month end / Year end close activities


Balance Sheet Analysis


Fixed Assets Accounting


Corporate Card Administration


VAT / CIT compilation and filing of returns


Maintenance of Accounting Records.

WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CORE BUSINESS PROCESSES:

Books and Records.


General Ledger.


Property Accounting (Fixed Assets).


Accounts Payable & Payments.

Application Modules:


Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger.


Data Entry:


Enter financial data in a timely fashion & accurately.


Attention to Detail:


Approaches work in a meticulous, thorough, and detailed manner.

Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

:


Proficiency in the language is required.


Tertiary Education - A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement. For career advancement, the candidate will need additional certification.


2-3 relevant experience in the region


Computer literate


Demonstrated good working knowledge of based Accounting system applications. (i.e. BPCS, FM, XMS) and working knowledge of SAP (S4HANA)


Proficient in the usage of PC based applications. (i.e. MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc.).
