Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Ensure the accuracy of journal entries and general ledger.
Monitor and reconcile balance sheets and income statements.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and international standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data.
Guide and support junior accountants.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CA is a plus).
Proven experience as a senior accountant or similar role (typically 5+ years).
In-depth knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
High proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
