Persian Horizon, a reputable business services firm, is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its finance department in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant work experience and a solid understanding of UAE financial and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Record, review, and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, profit and loss statements)
Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and treasury functions
Ensure compliance with UAE taxation laws and regulatory reporting requirements
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits
Utilize accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho (experience preferred)
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in UAE-based or international firms
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, banking processes, taxation, and UAE financial regulations
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
Fluent in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage
High level of accuracy, discipline, confidentiality, and analytical reporting skills
