Job Description

Job Summary: We seek an experienced Accountant proficient in Tally ERP to manage full-cycle accounting, payroll processing for 100+ employees, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a background in the construction or manpower industry, with expertise in compliance, vendor payments, and cost tracking. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Financial Management
  • Maintain accurate books in Tally ERP 9/Prime (GST, invoicing, receivables/payables, bank reconciliations).
  • Handle contractor/vendor payments, subcontractor billing, and project cost allocation (for construction).
  • Prepare month-end/year-end closings, P&L statements, and balance sheets.
2. Payroll Processing (100+ Employees)
  • Process monthly payroll for wage workers, staff, and contractors, including OT, allowances, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and labor laws (especially for manpower/construction workers).
  • Generate payroll reports, Form 16, and respond to employee queries.
3. Compliance & Audits
  • File GST returns, TDS, and PF/ESI filings accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with auditors and prepare documentation for internal/external audits.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor/financial laws affecting payroll and construction accounting.
4. Cost Control & Reporting
  • Track project-wise expenses (for construction) or labor deployment costs (for manpower).
  • Analyze variances, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report to management.
5. Vendor & Client Coordination
  • Verify subcontractor bills, worker attendance logs, and client invoices.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies with vendors/labor suppliers.
