Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Accountant
with
3-4 years of experience
in the
construction industry
. The ideal candidate must be proficient in
Microsoft Office
and
Zoho Accounting Software
and should have a solid understanding of construction-related accounting, including project cost tracking, supplier payments, and petty cash handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day financial transactions including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries
Monitor and manage project-wise cost control and budgeting
Handle payroll and employee reimbursements
Manage petty cash and site-related expense reports
Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely supplier payments
Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations (VAT filing, record-keeping, etc.)
Work closely with auditors and external consultants during audits
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3-4 years of accounting experience in the construction industry is mandatory
Proficient in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
and
Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance
Good communication and reporting skills
Knowledge of WPS payroll system.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
