Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust accounting practices, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:



Financial Reporting:

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations.

Reconciliations:

Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.

General Ledger:

Maintain and review general ledger entries, including the accurate posting of journal entries.

Budgeting:

Assist in the budgeting process by preparing forecasts, tracking variances, and evaluating financial outcomes.

Tax Compliance:

Manage tax filings, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and liaise with external tax advisors.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Team Support:

Supervise and mentor junior accounting personnel to drive operational efficiency and skill development.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Experience:

3-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the education sector (mandatory).

Education:

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or an equivalent certification is an advantage.

Location:

Based in Al Qusais, Dubai.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
