Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust accounting practices, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:



Financial Reporting:

Generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable regulations.

Reconciliations:

Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring any discrepancies are promptly resolved.

General Ledger:

Oversee the maintenance of accurate general ledger entries, including the review and posting of journal entries.

Budgeting:

Support the budgeting process by preparing budgets, monitoring variances, and evaluating financial performance.

Tax Compliance:

Oversee tax submissions, ensure adherence to relevant laws, and coordinate with external tax consultants.

Financial Analysis:

Perform feasibility assessments and risk evaluations to aid strategic decision-making.

Team Support:

Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, promoting efficiency and professional growth.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Experience:

3-4 years of relevant accounting experience within the education industry (required).

Education:

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.

Location:

Position based in Al Qusais, Dubai.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
