Job Description

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing financial reports to management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Develop and monitor budgets, forecast financial performance, and track variances.

General Ledger Maintenance:

Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and categorized.

Compliance:

Ensure the company adheres to financial regulations

Taxation:

Assist with or oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure tax compliance.

Internal Controls:

Establish and monitor internal accounting controls to safeguard assets and data integrity.

Audit Support:

Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.

Requirements:

This is a full-time, permanent, in-office position. If you're willing to commute to the office on a daily, then apply. No work-from-home will be hired.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

3+ years of UAE experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Excellent proficiency in English Language

Knowledgeable in Airbnb

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
