Key Responsibilities
Apply the Company's internal controls, systems, and processes efficiently and effectively.
Maintain strict confidentiality of information contained in working documents and accounting records.
Maintain accurate accounting records for a group of companies.
Prepare accounts to the trial balance stage for submission to auditors.
Administer payroll for the administration office.
Develop and maintain departmental control procedures and documentation.
Act as the first point of contact for all accounting-related queries from the international head office.
Manage daily treasury operations including payment runs and coordination with banks.
Prepare monthly financial reports on vessel income and expenditure.
Ensure compliance with all local financial regulations and tax requirements.
Post journal entries accurately and investigate discrepancies in ledger and suspense accounts.
Prepare trial balances and monthly management accounts in line with company guidelines.
Generate financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
Assist external auditors during the annual audit process.
Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory tax returns where applicable.
Reconcile petty cash and bank accounts monthly, resolving any variances.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role in the Technical Ship Management (Maritime Industry)
Fluency in English (spoken and written); Russian language skills are a plus.
Experience with ERP and accounting software (preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
