Your Role at HayyaTax

As our in-house Accountant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' financial integrity. From managing daily financial operations to supporting audits and tax filings, you'll help build trust through precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile accurate financial records in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements and clear cash flow visibility. Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with FTA guidelines. Assist in monthly and year-end closings, including journal entries and reporting. Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy. Support external and internal audits with full documentation and audit trail readiness. Handle payroll accounting and ensure accurate employee records. Monitor tax changes and support the implementation of UAE corporate tax frameworks.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is a must. 3-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within tax or consulting environments. Proficiency with accounting software such as Odoo, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally, or SAP. In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws, IFRS standards, and regional best practices. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and client communication skills. Language (English essential; Arabic is a plus).
