We are urgently hiring an Accountant with 2-3 years of experience in the gold/precious metals trading industry. The ideal candidate must be proficient in NEO Financial Software and have a solid background in accounting practices related to the precious metals field.
Job Location: Sharjah and Dubai Office
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, depreciation, and prepayments.
Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow regularly.
Ensure full compliance with tax laws, VAT reporting, and other financial regulations.
Process and record transactions involving gold, silver, and other precious metals.
Manage inventory valuation and cost accounting for precious metals.
Assist during audits and liaise with external auditors.
Implement and uphold strong internal financial controls and procedures.
Coordinate with traders and operations teams to track market activity and financial implications.
Provide timely financial reports to management to aid decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must.
Only candidates with relevant industry experience and NEO software knowledge will be considered.
