Position:
Accountant (Full-time)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and supplier payments.
Prepare monthly closing entries and generate financial reports for management.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and handle VAT returns.
Monitor inventory costs, landed costs, and assist with stock reconciliation.
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and customs authorities regarding payments and clearances.
Support the annual audit process and maintain organized financial documentation.
Assist in improving internal financial processes and reporting standards.
Required Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, with mandatory experience in the Food & Beverage or FMCG industry.
Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and basic knowledge of customs/import procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
Experience with Odoo ERP is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
Candidate must be available to join immediately.
Important Requirement:
Experience in the Food & Beverage sector is mandatory. Applications without relevant industry experience will not be considered.
