Experience:

2-3 years (UAE experience in accounting and taxation)

Apeiron Accounting and Tax Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have

2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE

, with a strong understanding of

IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), corporate tax, and VAT filing

. The role requires excellent analytical and multitasking skills to manage financial records, ensure tax compliance, and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with IFRS. Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

Taxation & Compliance:

Handle

VAT filing, returns, and reconciliation

as per UAE tax regulations. Ensure compliance with

corporate tax laws

, prepare tax computations, and assist in tax audits. Keep up-to-date with UAE tax laws and regulatory requirements.

General Accounting & Bookkeeping:

Manage

accounts payable and receivable

, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and support budgeting processes.

Auditing & Internal Controls:

Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

Provide financial insights to management for decision-making. Analyze revenue, expenses, and cost structures to optimize profitability.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of

IFRS, corporate tax, and VAT filing

in the UAE. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or Tally). Advanced

Excel

and financial analysis skills.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills (English is mandatory, Arabic is a plus).
