A Home Fragrance Company is looking for An Accountant that responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Core Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and reports Ensure accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant laws and regulations Process accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank and credit card statements Track and record financial transactions Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting Prepare and file tax returns Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records Support month-end and year-end close processes Contribute to the development of internal control policies and procedures
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification (preferred for senior positions) Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets Understanding of relevant tax laws and regulations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
