Zahr Freighters is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable

Accountant

to join our finance team in

Dubai

. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about numbers, accuracy, and contributing to the financial health of a fast-paced logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger. Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations on a monthly and yearly basis. Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. Monitor cash flow, forecast expenses, and manage budgets. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and support documentation requirements. Process payroll and ensure accurate disbursements. Maintain financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented. Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding sector. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
