Job Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting the financial health of the organization. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and passionate about numbers.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ensure timely filing of tax returns and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies Support senior management with ad hoc financial reports and insights Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books Sage, or similar) Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus Experience in Financial Markets is an added advantage
