We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Group Accountant

to manage our end-to-end accounting functions across local and international markets. As we expand, this role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and smooth cross-border financial operations.

You will work closely with the CEO and external consultants to manage books across the UAE and international markets like the US, India and beyond. This is a full-scope accounting role -- from bookkeeping and reconciliations to reporting, audits, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts, including general ledger, AP/AR, journal entries, and bank reconciliations Collect and track Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payments and strong cash flow Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial records and documentation for audits and compliance Analyze project and product profitability across different markets and channels Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations; maintain accurate stock valuations Implement and monitor internal controls for purchasing, stock handling, and approvals Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and assist with international tax/GST filings as applicable Handle intercompany accounting and foreign currency transactions Work closely with the CEO on budgeting, cost control, and strategic financial planning Support due diligence processes and liaise with external auditors as needed Use and manage Odoo ERP for accounting, inventory, and reporting functions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in a full-spectrum accounting role Strong command of accounting principles and international financial reporting (IFRS) Proficiency in

Odoo ERP

is essential Experience in inventory accounting and cost control Solid understanding of UAE VAT; familiarity with cross-border compliance a plus Analytical mindset with experience in profitability and variance analysis Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities

Preferred:

Background in FMCG, food production, or supply chain environments
