Key Responsibilities:
Track actual costs against project budgets and forecasts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Allocate costs to specific construction projects.
Analyze cost variances and report discrepancies.
Prepare and send invoices to clients.
Follow up on outstanding payments and manage cash flow.
Process payments to subcontractors, suppliers.
Review contracts and purchase orders for accuracy before payment.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, etc.
Handle audit preparations.
File statutory returns and ensure timely tax payments.
Assist in decision-making with financial forecasts and trend analysis.
Maintain records of materials and tools used at various sites.
Develop and enforce internal financial procedures to reduce fraud or errors.
Regularly audit internal processes and suggest improvements.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement to align financials with actual operations.

Experience:
Accountant: 3-5 years (Required)
