AL Zajel Real Estate is looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to join the team. In this role you will contribute to our financial success by maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Summarizes the current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets profit and loss statements and other reports. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secures financial information by completing database backups. Maintains financial security by following internal controls. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

Follows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Exhibits strong technical accounting knowledge Knows how to use popular accounting software Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a similar major is required A master's degree is preferred. A minimum of two years' experience in accounting/finance is required.
