Job Summary:

Jascon Engineering W.L.L. is seeking a motivated and results-driven

Accountant

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals. Handle accounts payable and receivable activities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and company policies. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities. Support internal and external audits. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience (construction/engineering industry preferred). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Qatar or GCC region. Knowledge of VAT and local compliance requirements.
