Must have relevant experience in using Accounting Software Sage 50 and Quick Book Online, MicroSoft Office

365

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement. Record and monitor daily financial transactions accurately. Issue invoices and follow up to ensure timely payment collection. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. Manage general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, and make adjustments when required. Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of all transactions. Prepare monthly and yearly budgets and financial forecasts; report findings to management. Apply strong knowledge and understanding of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Work independently with strong self-motivation and attention to detail. Maintain and update employee salary records. Prepare and process SIF files and manage WPS payroll in compliance with regulations. Handle accounting tasks up to finalization, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure timely compliance with all tax requirements, including tax return filing with the GTA. Experience with the ICV certification process is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in

construction or demolition

. Strong knowledge of project-based accounting and job costing. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, ERP, etc.). Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting). Strong understanding of local tax regulations, invoicing, WPS, and compliance. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong ethics, confidentiality, and communication skills.
