Job Description

The Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, generating timely financial reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This position supports sound financial decision-making by effectively gathering, reviewing, and presenting financial information.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial documentation, including ledgers, journals, invoices, and related records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Handle payroll processing and ensure timely tax submissions when applicable. Support budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning. Track and analyze financial performance, identifying key variances and trends. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, regulatory guidelines, and company policies. Provide financial insights and analyses to aid management decisions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least

5 years of solid experience

in accounting or a comparable role. Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Xero. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational capabilities. Asian Nationals preferred

Valid Qatar Driving License is required.
