You will be primarily responsible for overseeing
accounts payable and spendable
, managing
WPS (Wage Protection System)
, tracking and following up on
invoices and expenses
, and producing accurate
monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements
. You must also be firm and persistent in following up on payments and enforcing budgetary controls to ensure financial discipline across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable and Spendable:
Track, record, and process payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in handling all outgoing financial obligations.
Follow Up on Invoices and Expenses:
Proactively ensure that invoices are received, approved, and paid on time. Use strong communication skills to chase pending invoices or unresolved expense claims.
WPS (Wage Protection System) Management:
Ensure timely and compliant salary processing through WPS. Stay updated with local labor and payroll regulations.
Prepare Monthly Profit & Loss Reports:
Create and maintain monthly P&L statements, ensuring all revenues and expenses are accurately recorded and analyzed for performance monitoring.
Expense Management and Budget Control:
Monitor company spending, enforce financial policies, and restrict unnecessary expenses to help the company stay within budget.
Initiative & Ownership:
Take full ownership of your responsibilities. You are expected to self-manage your tasks and apply judgment and initiative when making financial decisions or taking follow-up actions.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
Strong understanding of WPS processes and local payroll regulations.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (especially for P&L preparation).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong character and a confident personality -- must be comfortable with assertively following up on payments and enforcing financial discipline.
High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in all areas of responsibility.
